UK picked to win SEC; Jones named to first team, 3 others named to second team

The media’s preseason SEC ballots are in.
UK was picked to win the SEC, receiving 18 of 23 first-place votes. Vanderbilt received four votes and Florida received one.
F Terrence Jones was selected to win the Player of the Year award, receiving 12 votes. Vanderbilt’s John Jenkins finished second with nine votes.
Jones was named to the preseason All-SEC First Team, while Doron Lamb, Darius Miller and Anthony Davis were selected to the second team.
