Big Blue Madness on TV

Big Blue Madness is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 15 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

UK fans without tickets to Big Blue Madness have plenty of TV options.

The UK IMG Sports Network will televise the festivities live, from 7-9:30 p.m., on WYMT-TV in Hazard; WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville; WSAZ-DT in Huntington; WKYT-TV in Lexington and on WMYO-TV in Louisville.

Fans can also view Big Blue Madness live for FREE on the University of Kentucky website at www.ukathletics.comor ESPN3.com.

UK is part of “ESPNU Midnight Madness,” which will broadcast the first practices of 11 different teams. UK’s will be live on espn3.com and delayed on ESPNU, with Jimmy Dykes as the commentator. Other schools include North Carolina, Louisville, Duke, Connecticut, Syracuse, Michigan State and Kansas. The program runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Other UK IMG Sports Network affiliates will carry Big Blue Madness on a tape-delayed basis, including FS South (10 p.m. ET); WBKO-TV (9 p.m. CT) in Bowling Green; WTVW-TV in Evansville (10:30 p.m. CT) and WDKA-TV in Paducah/Cape Girardeau (TBA).
