Jeff Sheppard, former UK basketball player who won championships in 1996 and 1998, is organizing an exhibition tour featuring former UK players.

A list of the five games, according to a news release:

• Oct. 8 — Pikeville, at Eastern Kentucky Expo Center, 7 p.m. (Tickets on sale Sept. 29, 10 a.m., Ticketmaster.com and Eastern Kentucky Expo Center)
• Oct. 9 — Alice Lloyd, at Knott County Central High School, 4 p.m. (Tickets on sale Sept. 28, 9 a.m., Knott County Central High Schoo)
• Oct. 10 — Georgetown, at Mason County High School, 7 p.m. (Tickets on sale Sept. 29, 7 a.m., Mason County High School)
• Oct. 11 — Union at Pulaski County High School, 7 p.m. (Tickets on sale Sept. 30, 7 a.m., Pulaski County High School)
• Oct. 13 — Mid-Continent, at Graves County High School, 7 p.m. Central Time. (Tickets on sale Oct. 3, 8 a.m. Central, Graves County High School)

Sheppard, who called the team the “Big Blue All Stars,” said rosters were being finalized. ABC36 has reported Josh Harrellson is playing.

Sheppard also said he is trying to organize a game between the former Cats and a team of UK “villains” in Rupp Arena.
