The Art Museum at UK, located in the Singletary Center for the Arts, recently introduced three new artworks into its outdoor sculpture garden. Two of the sculptures are the work of Peter Woytuk and the third is by Albert Paley, according to a UK news release. A public unveiling is scheduled for 3 p.m. Nov. 7 in the garden between the Singletary Center and the Student Center.

Missed opportunities prove fatal for Cats

The UK volleyball team had its fair share of chances over the weekend. The Cats were right in the thick of it in both of its matches. But in the end, the Cats were unable to come out on top in either match, falling to South Carolina this past Friday night and then to Florida on Sunday afternoon.

A UK football player is charged with drunken driving after being arrested Sunday morning. Matt Roark, a junior wide receiver, was suspended for one game for violating team rules, UK spokesman Tony Neely said. Roark was arrested at 5:51 a.m. Sunday, according to the police report.
