Life-blogging Board meetings is a nice practice. Please, continue!

  2. When you speak about having more choices for the students to learn and classes that are vital to the students education, this the action of this University is directly against that very subject. Talk about removing a critical choice. This week the University of Kentucky removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it “offended” the Muslim population, which claims it never occurred. They wish to rewrite history and deny actual occurrences because of their narrow mindedness and hate for the Jewish people and others not of their ilk. This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it. Their virus must stop. It is now more than 60 years since the Second World War in Europe ended. The Muslim population is racked with bigotry antisemitism and denial. How this University can give in to such ridiculous requests is beyond understanding. The students and faculty of the University of Kentucky needs to rise up and prevent such blatant irresponsibility and coercion from a group who would stifle important learning and positive discussion. This is suppose to be one of the best minions of learning in the country. This should be a major concern of the University community.
