@Corey

If you want to get technical, there's also no coach in Division 1 Men's Basketball named Billy Gillispie.

osbymartin, you are misinformed.

Unless you actually MEANT to say Billy Gillespie, in which case you WOULD be correct. Billy Gillespie didn't recruit Scotty Hopson.

But then again, why would he since there's no coach in NCAA division 1 men's basketball named Billy Gillespie. DUH!!

Billy Gillispie, however, did recruit Scotty Hopson and Scotty chose Tennessee, winner of no national titles, over his HOME STATE of KY, winner of 7 national titles, owner of the record for most wins and considered among experts as the GREATEST BASKETBALL PROGRAM OF ALL TIME!!!!

And as usual, osbymartin was wrong. Now go crawl back in your hole.

As a KU fan and a not a UK fan, I enjoy reading about the wonderful achievments of your "Overachievers". I don't have a problem with UK having Wall, Cousins and a bench full of blue chip, scholarship players being referred to as overachievers. I don't even have a problem of UK looking past the SEC Tournament as if it's not the prize of the regular season. Both UK and KU lost yesterday to very good teams. The chance of losing any game is always there, just not expected. Every loss disapoints but is not a season killer.
     Be warned, outside the SEC and the BIG 12 are 63 very good teams and any one of them, on a given night, with a little luck for them, and a bad break for us, can end the dream. Been there, Seen that.

Kentucky defector? Really? Your "upstanding" Coach Gillespie didn't try to get him. And as usual Coach Calipari was wrong...and as usual Captain Obvious made a statement (Calipari still smiled and pulled from the positive in the news conference afterward. The loss, he said, was far from a season-killer.) DUH!!
