From a second round loss in the NIT and losing one of the best offensive palyers in the country to #2 in the country? Along with a completely new offensive system those are some pretty high expectations. (Of course it can't happen unless there is a new offensive system.) One thing is for sure, UK will not be a top 5 team at the beginning of the year and 3 early loses (say to UNC, UConn and Louisville or even Indiana) will prevent such a high ranking even late in the year. It might be comfortable on the band wagon but is anyone out there predicting any thing based on the facts and not the hype? I predict UK will get back in the NCAA tourney this year and even with 8 loses no one will want to see them in their bracket .
