Reflecting on the music

Kennedy

While killing time before one of my evening classes, I decided to play around with black and white shots. The lighting that evening created perfect shadows for high contrast black and whites, my favorite type of photos. While walking around central campus I heard the sounds of the marching band practicing and thought I would go check it out. Once there, the mirror-like surfaces of the tubas caught my attention. I loved the reflections that they gave off with their many curves and how those reflections created a highly contrasted image with the sky and trees in the background.                       -Scott Hannigan
