UK and BCTC students can renew their parking permits online or through the mail starting Friday.

The UK Parking and Transportation Services is opening the 2009-2010 application process for parking permits, lasting until August 31.

Students may renew an existing permit today, while students purchasing new permits can apply June 1. Those applying for an R permit must wait until their housing assignment is confirmed from UK Housing.Permits are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis and remain the same price as last year. Student C, R and K permits are $232 a year. Evening permits are $112.

Students may now apply online by using their link blue login and password. For those applying through the mail, application cards can be picked up at Parking Structure #6 at 721 Press Avenue, and on the first floor of Parking Structure #5.
