For one, both have major potential and raw talent, which I feel would be better established if they were to fulfill thier four year term. They have a new coach coming in who would help them reach their full potential. I feel the Kentucky Wildcats needs these players for the following reasons. With Jodie Meeks they get the senior leadership they deperately desire. With Patterson they get a big man who can do way more than just play the paint, and who is also as mature as a senior . Plus they have nice recruits coming in and a couple softmores coming back that would truly make a aweswome team considering that Patterson and Meeks were to return next year. Point is, Meeks and Patterson are great players who play great together and with the right coach and a few better teamates could be the combonation to a championship year.
