Get real, we ran a great coach out of Lexington who took us to the Tourny...now we have this beater of a coach..similar to a chevy colbalt..he sucks, I met the guy, hes arrogant and cocky , We jumped on this guy because he won at Texas AM and Utep, 2 years wowowowwowow!! BRING BACK TUBBY and pay him 5 mill a year to make up for the racist cowards who wanted him gone. Have we become the New York Yankees? The Dallas Cowboys? I have been a UK fan my entire life much like many if not all of everyone reading this article. We are putting ourselves and our program in the national limelight and in a negative way. I am just as upset about this year's season and how it turned out, but we(fans,spectators,media) cannot do a thing about it. It is up to the AD, the coach, and the players and by god I trust them. How do you think the players feel when fans boo during a home game at Rupp? I hope a recruit isn't on a visit. How do you think the players feel when journalists remind them after a loss that they are inferior than the previous 17 kentucky teams. How about supporting your university, your team, coach, players, and realizing that it is going to take time. Maybe Billy G is the man for the job, the latest reports are saying the players are blaming themselves and that they love Billy G. Lets not put ourselves above others and be thankful to have such a magnificent program and such a successful past. Nothing will get done pointing fingers at billy or at mitch, why would patterson and meeks want to stay another year and get scrutinized for underachieving again. The post game interviews with the players are borderline the most depressing thing I have seen in some time. They are only college kids, I think playing with KENTUCKY across your chest is enough pressure, they play their hearts out every game. I know you are just doing your job, but if you are a fan and/or from kentucky, please start acting like it, Oh, and I think it is BIG BLUE NATION, NOT big blue standard. Go Cats! Derek K.
