Behind sports, taking pictures of little kids while they are playing is probably my favorite thing to photograph. Not only are they cute, but they are smarter than you think. When you get down on their level and actually listen and pay attention to only them, you start to get lost in their world. I prefer these to “stiff” portraits because these are the every day moments that parents remember and want to capture, but are sometimes too busy or do not have the right equipment to do so. If I could get paid to do this every day (and throw in a few sporting events for good measure), I would be happy. Photo by Kristin Sherrard | Staff
