Sophomore Patrick Patterson’s status for Saturday’s game at Arkansas is still to be determined, UK head coach Billy Gillispie said in a news conference Friday.

Patterson has not practiced since spraining his right ankle Tuesday night in the second half against Florida. Gillispie said Patterson has been wearing a protective boot and has not practiced since the injury.

Gillispie did not rule out the possibility of Patterson playing in Saturday’s game, adding, “It’s not the best way to go to the game, but some guys do it.”
