UK Bookstore will celebrate its grand re-opening with a week of events including a ribbon-cutting ceremony with President Lee Todd.

The 7,000-foot expansion of UK Bookstore, contracted by Follett Higher Education Group, will bring the Student Center store to about 23,000 square feet, according to a 2007 UK news release. The UK Bookstore’s existing space has also been renovated.

The weeklong series of events include games and events such as bean bag toss, karaoke and tailgate golf. About 10 authors will also be present at different days in the week, including Ron Eller, Frank Walker, Tom Barnes and James Archambeault
