The man being charged in connection with the death of UK student Connie Blount will have a status hearing in Fayette County Circuit Court on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Shannon Houser is being charged with tampering with physical evidence, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of marijuana.

SG approves $6,950 in funding

The Student Government Appropriations and Revenue Committee awarded $6,590 at their meeting Wednesday night to 11 different organizations. Club sports received $1,650, and the remainder of the money went to academic and club related activities.
